Werth Deal Close????
WEEI.com:
According to a tweet from Jayson Stark, the Phillies are working on a “major deal” for a starting pitcher and would move outfielder Jayson Werth in a companion trade.
Werth has been the subject of countless trade rumors over the last couple of months. Reports earlier in July suggested that the Red Sox might be a player for Werth, who is in the final year of a two-year, $10 million contract. He is hitting .280 with 13 HR and 50 RBI this season for the Phillies.
Rockies turn down Lowrie for Iannetta.....DUH!

Who would you like to see the sox acquire during the trade deadline??
As the July 31 trade deadline is now about a week away, what would you like to see Theo and Co. do??? Add some OF depth, a power arm for the bullpen, or are you thinking outside the box????

T.O. to Pats???
Free agent WR Terrell Owens told Boston's Jam'n 94.5 that he'd be open to signing with the Pats. Is he just trying to get his name out there cause the interest in his services have been minimal or is he truly sincere in wanting to play with Brady and Belichick???
Pats already got a pretty good WR core with Moss, Welker(way ahead of schedule), Holt, Edelman, Tate. But still, TO on 1 side....Moss on the other......
